Mr. Muhammad Hamza holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan, with a specialization in inorganic chemistry (2020). He completed his MS in Chemistry from the University of Education Lahore, Pakistan (2023). He worked as a research intern at the Centre for Environmental Protection Studies, Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research Laboratories (PCSIR), Lahore (2021–2022). His master’s thesis was based on the synthesis of organic polymer flocculants and their application for wastewater treatment. His current research aims to develop sustainable and efficient methods for removing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from contaminated water by utilizing nanocellulose-based biohybrid aerogels (BHA).
